Motorized Treadmills and a Tag line update..
I happened to notice this advertisement the other day- “Contact here for Motorized Treadmills”. Now while I really don’t know what this means, the cynic in me tells me that Man has reached the pinnacle of laziness. Does this mean that on this peace of equipment, I don’t really need to run? I just stand on it and the motor runs for about 30 mins and I lose the calories equivalent to a 30 min run? Would love to find out. I wouldn’t really be surprised if such a machine was indeed being sold in the western part of the world.
The Okalipuram area, as some of the esteemed readers know is a very important area in Bangalore. This area showcases the talents of the tag line writers of the Kannada film industry. Thanks to the watchful eye of Chilli who can spot a Kannada tag line a mile away and also due to my thirst to find out new Kannada tag lines, I present to you this months update. Of course, some of the readers would be also familiar with the latest taglines. This is purely for the benefit of Bangaloreans not in Bangalore currently. Henceforth, there will also be a monthly update on the tag lines.
a) Minchina Ota :- Chase to Live, Live to Chase.
b) Muggina Manasu: Tag line 1 – Only for Girls, Tag line 2 – Injurious to a boy’s heart.
c) Maadesha: Tag line 1 – There are no rights or wrongs, only power. Tag line 2 – Hero is a man who doesn’t follow the law.
d) Citizen: Peace, let it begin with me (This one was extremely difficult to spot. Kudos to chilli for this one)
e) P.U.C. – Please, U C ( I swear this tag line is true)
A recent trend I notice is that many Kannada movies have two English tag lines. Wondering why.

My knowledge has definitely increased by 10 folds after reading this post. thank you ame :D
Dude,
Tag lines are not restricted to kannada movies alone. there are equally comical, funny and hilarious tag lines for other language movies as well. would suggest to include them as well as Bangalore does not have releases of kannada movies alone and to be fair, as readers will start having a notion that only kannada movies come with these tag lines
Clangorous:- For one thing, I have never said that other langauges dont have funny taglines. I havent been exposed much to them except while i was in Hyd. There was this movie called Rakhi with the tag line "higly inflammable" which i have mentioned in one of my old blogs. I get my tagline information from Okalipuram area posters. If they start putting up non-Kannada movie tag lines there, I would be more than happy to report them in this blog.
Hmmm I am sure you would surely come across posters in multiplexes whenever you go for a movie. Anyways chill dont take it personally, I was just expressing my views.
A brilliant post. Needed some help. We're conducting a KANNADA TAG LINES competition in our college this monday. I would be very happy if you could help me find more of these. Thanks a lot in advance.
